How it works

From a cold enquiry to a paid invoice, in one system.

Three things break in a growing practice: taking clients on, keeping the recurring work moving, and actually billing for it. Accupe is built around those three.

Onboard

Take on a client without the paperwork spiral.

Search Companies House and pull the company, its officers and its filing dates straight onto the client record. Capture identity and ID documents for review. Send the engagement letter for signature and watch it come back signed.

See how onboarding works
  • Companies House search, officer and filing-date sync for UK firms
  • Trade licence, free-zone authority, emirate and TRN capture for UAE firms
  • Identity and document verification with a full review trail
  • E-signatures with per-signer fields and a tamper-evident audit log
Operate

Recurring work that schedules itself.

Annual accounts, quarterly VAT, monthly bookkeeping: set the job once and Accupe re-spawns it with its task list every cycle. The Smart Board shows the whole firm at a glance, and the capacity heatmap shows who is drowning before they tell you.

See it for a growing firm
  • Recurring jobs from templates, with tasks that carry forward
  • Smart Board kanban across every job in the firm
  • Timesheets, WIP capture and per-job profitability
  • Team capacity heatmap and role-based permissions
Get paid

Bill from the work you already tracked.

Turn captured time into an invoice, send it, and let clients pay by card. Accupe adds no platform fee of its own on card payments, though Stripe still charges its processing fee. Invoices sync to Xero or Zoho Books so your ledger stays the system of record.

See plans and pricing
  • Invoices built from tracked time and job templates
  • Card payment links via Stripe, with 0% Accupe platform fee
  • Two-way sync with Xero and Zoho Books
  • Client portal for documents, messages, tasks and signatures

A real look at it

This is the actual product, not a mockup.

Scroll to walk through a client from first enquiry to paid invoice. Every screen below is the real Accupe interface running on demo data.

  1. 01Onboard

The client record fills itself in.

Search Companies House and the company, its officers and its filing dates land on the record. UAE firms capture trade licence, free zone, emirate and TRN instead.

  2. 02Verify

    Identity checked before you engage.

ID and address documents captured and put in a review queue, with who approved what, and when, kept on the record.

  3. 03Engage

Engagement letter out and back, signed.

Per-signer fields, reminders that chase themselves, and a tamper-evident audit trail filed against the client.

  4. 04Operate

    The recurring work runs itself.

Annual accounts, quarterly VAT, monthly bookkeeping. Set the job once and it re-spawns with its task list every cycle, in front of the whole firm.

Billed from the time you already tracked.

Tracked hours become an invoice, the client pays by card, and the entry syncs to Xero or Zoho Books.

Two regimes

One product, two regimes.

Most practice-management tools are built for one country and bolt the other on. Accupe branches on your firm’s region from the moment you sign up: the fields you capture, the currency you bill in, the times your clients see, and what the AI assistant knows.

United Kingdom

  • Companies House search, officer and confirmation-statement data on the client record
  • Billing in GBP, dates and figures in en-GB
  • Client meetings and portal times in Europe/London
  • AI assistant briefed on HMRC, VAT at 20%, Corporation Tax, Self Assessment and Companies House

United Arab Emirates

  • Trade licence category, free-zone authority, emirate, TRN and licence expiry on the client record
  • Billing in AED, dates and figures in en-AE
  • Client meetings and portal times in Asia/Dubai
  • AI assistant briefed on the FTA, VAT at 5%, Corporate Tax at 9% above AED 375,000, ESR, UBO and free-zone rules

Worth knowingAccupe does not file returns. It is the practice-management layer above your filing software, so you keep submitting to HMRC or the FTA exactly as you do now, with the deadlines, documents and approvals tracked in one place.

Plays nicely with your stack

Accupe sits above your bookkeeping and filing tools, not in their way.

Read straight from Companies House. Sync billing into Xero or Zoho. Keep your existing accounting stack - Accupe is the practice-management layer on top.

Questions

The things firms ask before they switch.

Straight answers, including the ones where the answer is no.

What does Accupe actually replace?

The spreadsheet of client deadlines, the shared inbox where documents get lost, the separate e-signature subscription, and the job tracker nobody updates. It does not replace your bookkeeping ledger: Xero and Zoho Books stay where your numbers live, and Accupe syncs with them.

Does Accupe submit returns to HMRC or the FTA?

No. Accupe is the practice-management layer above your filing tools, and it is not MTD-recognised software. You keep filing the way you file today. What changes is that the deadline, the working papers, the client approval and the signed engagement letter all live in one tracked place instead of four.

How long does it take to get a firm live?

Most firms import their client list and run their first real job inside a fortnight. Client import, branded portal setup and a walkthrough for your team are included on every plan, not sold as an onboarding package.

Do you do AML screening?

No. Accupe does identity and document verification with a full review trail, but it does not run sanctions, PEP or adverse-media screening, and it is not a substitute for your AML obligations. Keep using your existing screening provider alongside it.

Can we put the client portal under our own brand?

Yes. Your firm’s logo and colours on the Growth plan, and your own custom domain plus white-labelled client emails on Elite, so clients see your brand rather than ours.

Which tools does Accupe integrate with?

Xero and Zoho Books for accounting, Stripe for card payments, and Companies House for UK statutory data. QuickBooks and Sage integrations are in development and are marked as such wherever they appear.

Where is client data stored and who can reach it?

Encrypted at rest, with row-level security so a firm can only ever read its own records, and a full audit log of access events. Two-factor authentication is available on every plan, and SSO plus exportable audit logs are on Elite.

What does it cost, and is there a discount for small firms?

Solo is £20 a month, Growth is £55 and Elite is £185, with roughly 17% off if you pay annually and AED pricing for UAE firms. If you are an early-stage firm the discounted rate is worth asking about: contact us and we will come back with a number.
